And time felt like it froze for the longest time ever. It was all in slow mo as my mind tried to quickly articulate what exactly happened. Did MinShik just call me his baby?

Hit replay on slow mo please.

“Diiiidd annnyyyyyy onnnneeee hiiiiiitttt onnnnn myyyyyy bayyyyyy bieeeeeeeeeeeeee”

You have to be kidding me.

“Did you hang out with those kids who smoke again, MinShik?” I smacked him on the head, “You must be high or something to be calling me your baby if anything!”

It was the best thing I could think of. MinShik shot a glare at me as Risa and Changmin could only awkwardly smile. There was then a brief awkward silence.

“So um, cake anyone?” I tried to start up the conversation while taking the cake out of its box.

Changmin’s eyes seemed to glimmer and light up immediately as he saw the creation. He looked so freaking adorable, you had no idea. I never knew food could turn on a guy so much. I guess the phrase, “The way to win a guy’s heart is through his stomach” is correct in this case. Score for YooRim!

“Oh! Oh! Me! M—“ MinShik piped up as I stepped on his foot underneath the table.
“Shut up foo.” I mumbled, while offering the first slice to Changmin with a smile.
“Wahh! It’s so pretty and I bet it’s yummy! Risa and you made this? They make things like this here at school? In the classes?” He seemed to be speaking a mile a minute, I guess the sight of sugar got him hyper. So adorable…

I watched him eat his cake in a daze until MinShik nudged me over and glared at me again for the previous retort. What else was I supposed to do? I glanced over at Risa who had just finished her curry and rice. I, too, had finish eating my kimbap and opened up a bottle of water to drink. Changmin was happily eating most of the cake, and before we knew it, he had eaten it all.

“…I’m…I’m…So sorrryyy!” He exclaimed, “It was just so good and I kept eating...and eating…and eating!” He had the cutest look on his face.
“It’s alright! Calm down Changmin~” I laughed, “Risa and I create cakes and such every single day—“
And we work at the bakery in the town center! So, it’s no worries.” Risa winked at Changmin, hinting something with that first statement.
“You work there? I never knew! Those cakes look so delectable—and I know for sure they’re yummy because you guys made it, yeah?” Changmin marveled at us with his large eyes, only making me blush.
“Oh ha ha~ Yes, we do!” I smiled shyly.
“You should come by and visit after school.” Risa giggled, “I know that YooRim always gets bored at the counter…”
“Yeah and Risa always has fun in the back room with Jaejoong…” I remarked as she hit me on the head, “Ow! Unni! I was joking…”

Changmin laughed at our actions as MinShik stood idly bye. A hint of jealousy could be seen in his eyes as he mumbled incoherently to himself, “I wanted cake too. That’s not fair, noona always shared with me…”

Risa then sighed happily after beating on me for a bit and then reached over to her backpack. She fished inside the front pocket vigorously and a disgruntled face formed. This meant only one thing, unni had ran out of lollipops in her backpack, and she always liked her lollipop after lunch.

“Come with Unni now!” She commanded and immediately dragged me away.
“Aiyoo! You’re always so random with this you know?” I waved to Changmin and MinShik, “You two get along now~ I’ll be back! I hope…”

We walked over to Risa’s locker which was a while away from the cafeteria. Let me tell you a bit more about my best unni here. She’s probably one of the most sweetest, kindest, most popular girls in the school—and did so without even trying. She isn’t a cheerleader or even a part of the school government, but she does format the school’s web page along with being on the varsity tennis and volleyball teams and also being the most helpful person around the school who is somehow a part of almost every single club. I wish I were as well rounded as my unni. Anyways, the point of how awesome my unni is basically leads to the fact that all the boys want her. Risa’s milkshake totally brings all the boys to the yard— I need to not listen to American music….

I stepped to the side of her locker and watched her open it slowly. Immediately, a shower of candies flowed out of the cubbyhole as I watched Risa scan through the wave of sweets.

“Ramune candy…Soda candy…Apollo Chocolates…Eh? Why are there only Japanese candies today? Where are my Chupa Chups that always overpopulate my locker!” She stomped around, “I want my Chupas NAOOOOO!”
“Eh? No Chupas? Aren’t they normally ALL Chupas? Did the fan boys go crazy or something…?”
“Mou, I don’t know YooRim! But what am I going to do without Chupas!” She shook me back and forth while whining.
“Unni…you sound like a drug addict—but Chupas, not drugs…”
“Shut up!” She snapped, “Mou, no nyappy sticks” She sniffled while scooping up all the Japanese candies into a bag. She then threw it back into her locker and slammed it shut.

Digging in my pocket, I pulled out a Chupa Chup that she gave me earlier.

”Here unni. Hopefully this will last until the end of the day ne? We’ll drop by the candy store before work—Aigoo!”
“Thank you sweetie!” She giggled and hugged me tightly, “And eh? Aigoo?”
“I have detention today! Can you wait an extra 30 minutes…?”
“….”
“…I’ll buy you 10 extra Chupas.”
“Deal!” She smiled and plopped the lollipop I had just given her into her mouth. “I wonder why someone gave me Japanese candies though…So very odd…”
“Not many people know that your half Japanese, huh?”
“Nope~” She shook her head, “This is suspicious!”

We walked down the hall together since lunch was almost over, speculating about why the candies would be Japanese. Although it may sound like the oddest thing to wonder about, it’s true that Risa normally only gets Chupa Chups left in her locker. The hallway echoed as we felt this eerie presence around us, like we were being followed. We stopped and turned around to see no one.

“Unni…it feels…odd…”
“Ne…We should really go to class huh?”

I nodded as we parted our ways.

“I’ll see you after school, ne! Don’t go Chupa deprived on me~” I giggled as Risa smiled back.
“I’ll try! See you then ne~!” She smiled.
“Be careful too! There is something weird about today…”
“Ne!” She replied and continued walking away.

I sighed and leaned against the lockers for a while. Where should I go now? Lunch wasn’t exactly over until about five more minutes, and passing period was eight minutes—so loitering wouldn’t be much of a problem. I started walking out towards the garden area of the school. My class was in that direction anyways, so why not.

My fingers fell to my pockets and patted them slightly, I felt so empty without my cell phone. My shoulder strapped backpack swayed beside me as I quickly reached the garden and sat down on a bench. Pulling out my MP3 player, I looked through the songs and let out a heavy exhale. Why do so many songs have to be about love? I shoved the device back into my bag and looked up into the sky.

“I’m sorry,” I heard a loud whisper as someone’s breath pressed warmly against my ear. I snapped away in reflex and turned around to see him.

“It was a mistake.” His soft voice said as I looked at him with disgust.
“No, saying yes to you was a mistake.” I scoffed, “I’m going to class now.”

Turning around to leave, I was pulled back.

“Let go, Junsu. Of everything. You broke up with me, remember?”
“I didn’t mean it, I was really aggravated with everything else.”
“It sounded like you meant it, Junsu.”
“YooRim. Look at me.”

I couldn’t get myself to do it. I simply pulled my wrist away from him and walked away to class.

“…YooRim…I…I still love you…” He mumbled.

I wasn’t going to believe him. I couldn’t trust him anymore.

Home Economics finished in mere seconds as I headed out of the class with Risa, clutching onto my bag with the cake in it in one hand along with my books on the other. We parted ways at the nearby hallway intersection as my unni headed off to the library for her library aid period. I, on the other hand, had a date with the devil. Well, not really a ‘date’ but he’d be in my presence for an hour!

Lonely…I’m mister—uh, misses lonely…

Walking down the halls by yourself carrying a bunch of things is not the best thing ever! I sighed as I stopped by my locker to put away my cake. I decided that I would pick it up later once lunch begins and closed the locker. I casually held my American History book and slugged my way down the hall, still alone, until I turned the corner to see a boy looking straight at me, heading my way.

No, no, no, no. Please do not tell me that he wants to start something too!

I tried to pick up my pace and weaved around the crowd of students but his long legs were no match for my fat, short, stubby ones. His somewhat long, shaggy hair was spiked up a bit and styled with wax. No, not candle wax. You know, the wax for hair? I didn’t want to say, “hair wax”, since I’d be saying “hair” twice in a sentence…Great, I just did. I hate being repetitive…

He grabbed my arm and turned me around, smirking.
“So, I heard you broke up with my best friend?” He sneered.
“He broke up with me.” I snorted, turning away. Exposing my cheek to him.
“He broke up with you…? Good.” I looked at him with an odd expression.
“What do you mean by ‘good’, Yunho? Are you—“ I was cut off by an odd action.

What did he do?

Remember that frosting on my cheek that I never took off last chapter?

“I was joking!” She flung a bit of frosting at me, “Gosh, take a joke sweetie!”
I only replied with pouting and continued to cut my strawberry slices, forgetting that I had a slab of frosting on my face. Oh well, someone should tell me about it soon, right? …Ahem, cue to Risa?…Risa?! Fine, I’ll forget about it completely and look like a retard…

He licked me.

“EWWWWWWWWWW GROSS! YOU DOG UGH EW EW EW!” I freaked out, Jung freaking Yunho, my ex boyfriend’s best friend basically slobbered over my face. WHAT THE CRAP?
“If you broke up with him, I couldn’t do that. If he broke up with you it’s alright, since I can now make my move.” He grinned. “Yum, vanilla frosting.”
“What kind of freaking logic do you have?” I was still disgusted and wiped my cheek furiously.
“A kind that works. He got bored of you, so I can have fun with you now.” Another smirk appeared on his mouth.
“You’re sick, freaking disgusting jerk.” I grumbled, stomping away from him, but stopped as I turned around.

Changmin was looking right at me.

What the hell, God. What the freaking hell.

I tried chasing after him but he had moved too quickly and the two-minute warning bell had already rung. I sighed frantically and began to walk towards my class. I looked at the floor while walking and glumly turned into the room, running into someone. Third time’s a charm today, right?

Wrong.

“Hey, YooRim…” His soft voice spoke.
“…” I didn’t reply and I only bowed and headed towards my seat—which I forgot was right next to his.

Dandy, it’s a date with the devil, Kim Junsu, and guess what, I sit right next to him in the far back row. Yay, someone please shoot me. Why can’t Risa come in and pull me out of class or something like how she disrupted my WONDERFUL hug with Changmin…

Tapping my pencil against the desk in a pesky manner, I didn’t even look at him, but his presence seemed to annoy me. A few minutes into class and a note was passed on my desk. I looked at it, and then at him—his eyes were pleading.

Must. Fight. Temptation. To. Read.

I put it back on his desk, but the teacher saw me.

“What’s this love birds?” Mr. Song spoke, picking up the note. “You two always cause trouble in my class.”

He glowered at me, and read the note aloud.

’I’m sorry, I want you back.’,” the girls gave me a glare, the guys had a shocked look on their faces, and Mr. Song added in commentary, “Trouble in paradise Ms. Han? Things are about to get a bit worse, 30 minutes detention after school. I’ll see you then.”

The teacher walked off as I gave a dirty glare at Junsu and angrily flipped through the pages of my book. Now, the class believes that I’m some clingy girl when it’s the other way around. Why must I always get the best of luck? In addition, I’ll be late to work and Risa would have to deal with Jaejoong on her own! Aish, I feel so mad and angry right now, I feel like…KILLING JUNSU! That’d be great, but then again I’d be charge with murder and live in prison forever. After that, Changmin will move on, icky Yunho will visit me in prison and Yoochun would drop by occasionally to make fun of me. That sounds just absolutely peachy.

Junsu stayed quiet throughout the rest of class, but I knew he was glancing over at me periodically. I just kept a pissed off façade and finished off my work as fast as possible. Standing up to turn in my paper, I walked up to Mr. Song’s desk as he gave me another glare and handed me my detention slip. I could only fake a smile; say sorry and state that it would never happen again.

The bell rung as I was one of the last to leave, along with Junsu. He made the mistake of breaking up with me, I don’t understand what he’s holding on to if he was the one who said the words. The teacher had already left the room as I picked up my backpack, slung it over my shoulder and began to head out. Sadly, Junsu pulled me back and turned me around to face him. I only looked down at my shoes; I didn’t want to look at his face.

“YooRim, look at me.”
“No. I won’t. Why should I anyways?”
“Because I was wrong, I didn’t mean it.”
“Sure sounded like you did.”

I stomped away as he pulled me back again, but this time he caught me in a hug. His embrace was warm, but not comforting at all. It was awkward, and I began to question myself. Did I ever like him at all before?

“I’m sorry, I really am. I was stupid…”

I didn’t want to hear any more as I shoved him off and walked out, only to find that Changmin had been watching by the doorway while waiting for me. Today must be “Screw YooRim Over Day”.

I smiled at Changmin as he hesitantly returned the facial expression.

“What was that all about…? If you don’t mind me asking, that is.” Changmin said a bit shyly.
“It’s…nothing. Just forget it, all right? I have a surprise for you.” I looped my arm in his as he smiled back, a bit eased.

I walked him over to my locker as I opened it up and pulled out the box of cake.

“Tada!” I grinned as I handed the box over to him, “Risa Unni and I made it in class. I saved my half for you.”

His eyes glimmered as his lips formed a gigantic smile that seemed to gleam insanely. Changmin put one of his long arms around me and thanked me. We walked together towards the cafeteria and sat down at a table with Risa.

“Hello Lo—“ She started, but I put her lollipop in her mouth.
“Shush it unni.” I laughed, “What are you having for lunch today?”
“Rice and curry for today!” Risa giggled, scooping some of her food onto her spoon, “You?”
“I made some kimbap, and I still have some cake left over.” I smiled, “Would you like some too unni? Knowing you, you probably ate all of it with the other aids.”
“It’s alright!” This was surprising to me, she never passed up sweets, “I’ll just get more candy from my locker later. You can split your cake with your new boyfriend here.”
“…What are you talking about…?” I stuttered, my face flushing pink.

Changmin blushed also, and looked away from me.

Risa sensed the hesitation and nervously replied, “I’m joking haha! I know you guys are just friends~”

I wanted to smack myself silly. Risa unni did not just do that! She better be joking. It’s not nice to mess with my mind and Changmin’s! Right at that moment, I saw MinShik walking over with a demented grin on his face. What is this boy planning?

“YooRim noona ah~ how is my pretty noona today? ~” He smirked, sitting next to me and giving me a kiss on the cheek, “Did anyone hit on my baby?”

Everyone’s face turned into the hugest expression of shock (except MinShik that is). Someone, shoot me, stab me, KILL ME, now. Please?

Once the bell rung, I quickly jotted down notes from the overhead and then took out my history homework packet to finish. Hopefully, I wouldn’t get caught like I had before. I have an absolute knack for getting myself into any form of trouble. I guess I’m not ninja enough.

I had anatomy with…no one, no one that I enjoyed talking to at least. There were the preps in the corner who never ceased to chat, the arrogant yet odd scene kids who would always try to pick a fight one day or another, and also the quiet nerd that was in the far back seat, doing class work in two seconds then moving onto unfinished homework from other classes. Oh wait, that’s me. Whoops, I don’t count. My bad.

The teacher continued on about the arteries in the hearts and what the differences between the blue and red colored vein-thingies were. You can all probably tell that I barely pay attention, I’m not even sure of my description…

For some odd reason, the class went by faster than normal as I scooped up my notebooks and shoved them into my backpack, swinging it over my shoulder, picking up my textbooks and headed quietly for the door. Sighing as I left, a small wave of tiredness swept over me as I walked down the halls and bumped into another person. I looked down at the feet nervously, and slowly worked my way towards the face. I didn’t want it to be Junsu again.

“Hey YooRim!” A giant smile was plastered on his face, “You never answered my question!”
“Oh hey! C-Ch-Changmin!” I giggled a bit, wait what did I just giggle? Way to look weird YooRim, “Sorry, I was uh…”
“It’s alright, it was a Monday morning!” He was still smiling. Gosh why is he so cute? “Where are you headed right now?”
“Uhhh, to Home Economics class with Risa unni.” I felt retarded for hesitating. It was almost the end of the year for gosh sakes…
“Really? My class is down that way also! May I?” He bent his arm to form a loop, as in – you know, the handle shape of the teapot.

I almost jumped with joy as I tried to control my happiness. Did the cutest guy of my life just offer to walk me to class, with our ARMS looped together!?

I nodded as I walked down the hall with him, arm in arm. I wanted to faint so badly, but I couldn’t…because then…wait if I fainted would he give me CPR? GO BRAIN GO! MAKE ME FAINT—Okay never mind, Risa unni would kill me if I forced something like that to happen…or…would she…

Changmin and I started a light conversation as we realized we barely knew each other.

“You like to eat? Really? But you’re so thin!” I exclaimed.
“Hey, I would be saying the same to you! You’re so short!” He replied, with a childish grin on his lips.

Ouch, there goes my self-esteem. I hated being picked on, especially about my height.

“….” I pouted, and looked up at him. Darn you fool, why did you hit my weak spot?!

I guess Changmin realized that I was “hurt” as he stopped walking and unlinked his arm from mine. Boo no, come back! I would like to super glue you to me mister!

“Here’s your class…” He mumbled, “Sorry about the…height thing.”
“It’s…alright” I replied, a weak smile on my lips, “I’ll see you later then yeah?”
“Hehe, of course!” That bright grin of his returned as he quickly leaned over a bit and gave me a big hug.

God, please shoot me.

“HEY LOVERS!” Risa giggled as she licked another one of her happy sticks, bouncing behind us with glee.

Damn you God, I didn’t mean it…

Changmin let go quickly as he turned bright pink, “I uh, um gotta …err—go. Yeah that’s right, I’ll see you later”

He walked off in an awkward manner and almost bumped into a few people.

“WHY UNNI WHY!?” I wanted to cry as I pouted at my dearest unni, “I was in heaven!”
Risa only grinned brightly, “Because I love you moreeeeeeeeee~”

She tackled me over and stuck a lollipop in my mouth, “All better!”

“Lollipops do not make things all better…” I pouted, sucking on the yummy candy, “Oh yay, strawberry!”
“See, it so does.” She replied, sticking her tongue out and then linking her arm with mine, “Time to bake!”

Home Economics, the more professional way of saying “dessert making class”, our most favorite class. Why? We both liked to bake, we both liked to eat our creations, and we had the class together. I love spending time with my unni, and I’m pretty sure she feels the same! … I hope at least.

We walked into class with a huge smile on our faces. We knew what today was; it was time to make anything we’d like since we had finished our class curriculum already. Risa unni and I agreed on making a nice layered strawberry shortcake and began to work on it immediately once we got to our work stations.

“Making a cake like always? Has working for me gotten you addicted to doing such work?” A guy came by, smirking. His hair was a dirty blonde color and his skin was as clear as a porcelain doll. I was always jealous of his skin, and always wondered if he was gay. C’mon, no guy should cut and dye his hair so many times along with keeping his skin breakout free.
“We don’t work for you,” I laughed, “We work for your parents. They’re a nice couple, such a shame they had to have such a bratty kid.”
“You!” he pouted, “Do—“
“What? Don’t make you tell mommy? She adores us!” Risa giggled, “YooRim~ pass the sugar please~”
“Here you go unni!” I passed her the sugar and continued to cut up strawberries, “So, Jaejoong, shouldn’t you be working on whatever you are making?”
“Well, I came over here to uh um…check up on you guys to see if you weren’t using all the strawberry supply!”
“Suree….” I sheepishly grinned,” I think you just wanted to see Risa unni and all her hotness.”
“YOORIM!” Risa smacked my arm, “What are you talking about?!”
“You know unni, ‘you’re hotter than an oven preheated to 375 degrees.’ ” I cracked up laughing, resulting in a glare from Jaejoong.
“HAHAHA, Oh I remember that! Don’t you Jaejoong?” She giggled, stirring up the dry ingredients.
”Yes…I…clearly do…” He shot another glare at me, “I’m going to go back to making my cupcakes…”
“OUR CAKE IS BETTER THAN YOUR CUPCAKES!” I yelled after him.

Risa and I gave each other a high five and smiled gleefully. Embarrassing Jaejoong was one of the best parts of Home Economics. It was probably our only way of getting back at him for his crappy “assistant management” at the bakery we work at. As you read before, yes, his parents own it, but that doesn’t give him the right to be a complete butt to us, or well me. He’d always put me on some other random shift so he can work alongside Risa! Pft, thank god his pick up lines are so corny and retarded, Risa just gives him an awkward look. Puahaha, in your face Kim Jaejoong!
Class went by quickly as Risa and I were simply relaxing as our cake was in the oven. We began to mix our frosting as we continued our normal chitchat, gossip time.

“So, I saw what happened out there. Spill the beans!” Risa demanded, tasting a bit of her frosting mix.
“It was just a hug! Until you had to ruin it…” I mumbled, reaching over for some fresh strawberries to cut for decoration.
“I didn’t ruin it! What if he were to rape you!?” Risa stopped herself and laughed, “Wait, you’d like that huh?”
“WHAT!?” I threw a strawberry at her, “You’re mean unni! I think those happy sticks are BIPOLAR sticks! You’re worse than me!”

We finished up our cake a few minutes before class ended as we split it in half. Risa began to eat a slice of her cake immediately as I only helped get her a cup of tea.

“Why aren’t you going to eat yours now?” She asked between munches.
“Ah, I think I will eat it later at lunch.” I smiled dreamily, spacing out.
“Ahh, for your crush I see.” Risa giggled, “Thank gosh I don’t need boys~ All this cake for myself!”
“Aiyoo, you’re lucky you just don’t get fat~” I let out a soft giggle as I placed my half of the cake in a box provided by the teacher along with a plastic knife, forks and paper plates.

Putting the box into a bag and picking it up, I looked at Risa who was taking another slice and finishing it off in mere seconds. My unni, I wonder how she eats so many sweets but never gains a pound. I guess she burns it off while being hyper. I helped her put away the rest of her cake as we waited for the bell to ring. Looking over at Jaejoong, he seemed just about done with his cupcakes and was heading our way.

“Aren’t they lovely?” He spoke, flaunting his own creation.
“Yes, they are quite lovely.” Risa smiled, looking at the pink frosted marble cupcakes.
“But, they’re not as lovely as you~” He smirked at Risa as she only began to laugh.
“Not this again, I thought we were home free today!” I groaned jokingly as Jaejoong’s wannabe seductive smirk turned into a grim glare.
“Haha, thank you Jaejoong? But you know, I’m not interested.” Risa picked up her bag and stood up, “Bell’s going to ring in a few seconds~ Let’s go dongsaeng!”

Risa unni always seem to handle everything with class. No wonder Jaejoong is after her…I wonder when she’ll find her perfect boy though. I think she likes being independent though; she’s probably one of the strongest willed people I know. Ah, Risa unni~ how do you do it. I wish you could teach me…

002

I watched Yoochun walk up to the board in a highly amused manner. To receive a D in this class, one must be absent just about every single day, almost bomb every single test and quiz, and simply be stupid…like Park Yoochun. I find myself quite unreasonable for disliking him just because Junsu did…I don’t even remember why Junsu hated him. To be truthful, I never thought Yoochun was even that bad! Ugh, I’m too easily swayed in any way due to the misleading motives and persuasions of arrogant bastards named Kim Junsu.

He scratched his head and simply stood there, humming a tone of confusion. All of a sudden I felt a pang in my chest. Please don’t tell me I feel bad for this guy…I looked over at Mr. Kwon who looked a bit disappointed and angry at the same time. I guess it wouldn’t hurt not to be a bitch for once…

Raising my hand, I decided to tell Mr. Kwon that I changed my decision and picked one of the quiet nerds in the corner to finish the problem up. Yoochun let out a sigh of relief as he sat back down, and gave me an odd look.

“Change of heart? So fast…?” Yoochun shot me a smirk.
“Wipe that stupid smile off your face pervert.” I grumbled, slamming my notebook closed and putting away my writing utensils. Class would be ending in a few minutes.
“What smile? This is a smirk smart one.” He chuckled a bit, yet something felt odd about him.
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever weirdo. You’re lucky I felt like being nice.” I stared at the clock for a few more seconds while tapping my fingers against the wooden desktop.

Three. Two. One.

Once the bell rung, I bolted out of the class as fast as I could to avoid any more odd moments. Do I like him? No, not one bit. However I do not hate him…I guess it’s neutral…for now…wait, what do I mean for now? Ugh! My life is a huge mess!

I made my way down the hall, walking at a fast pace, almost ignoring all of my surroundings. For some odd reason, I felt like a mad maniac. Did I do something horridly wrong back there…or horridly right? I guess I did help someone…but I helped an enemy of an ex. Wait, he’s simply an ex though! He broke up with me! He asked me out in the first place also! Why are guys so complicated?

I do have to say; girls are way simpler than guys when it comes to feelings. Seriously, think about it readers. Girls will express themselves, and do not bottle up as much as guys. Guys will act the complete opposite to how they feel, or the way the feel. The thing is, you can’t tell. Girls are easier to “read”, sadly…and guys are just…well let’s just say, if I tried to read a guy, I would probably have a multitude of dyslexic moments.

Blindly swerving around the traffic of the halls, I guess I missed a body as I bumped into someone. Simply bowing my head, muttering a sorry, making no eye contact, and almost moving along my path until a hand yanked me back.

“Can we talk?” He spoke, his shirt a crisp color of sky blue and his jeans were of dark denim fabric.
“Talk?” I scoffed, “What would you like to talk about? Last I heard from you was…I can’t remember.”
“What do you mean?” His eyes looked a bit annoyed, “I just sent you a text message.”
“Well I broke my phone out of anger during the weekend. Don’t you have an idea why?” I grumbled and stomped away.

Kim Junsu.

I don’t want to see your face. I don’t want to feel your touch. I don’t want to hear your voice. I don’t want to see anything from you. I wish I could take a giant magical eraser and simply obliterate you from the face of the earth. Then, if there are still any of those eraser crumb thingies left, I will vacuum them all and set the vacuum bag on fire! HA! That’s how much you simply displease me mister!

I could feel that he was staring at me from the hallway. My back felt as if it were to spontaneously combust due to his constant glare. I hate the feeling that you get when you simply know that you were being ogled.

I made a sharp turn at the corner and sped into my next class, anatomy. Ironically, guess what part of the human body we were learning about currently! The lovely heart and the circulatory system. I wish mine would simply fail right now…then I wouldn’t have to deal with all this boy drama…and also the prom drama…and the simple fact of maintaining grades and crap…Ugh. I think Forrest Gump lied to America—because life is not a box of chocolates! You know what you will always end up getting: Shit. As in, being screwed over, frustrated, confused, and put into the pit of destruction.

Shows what Thomas Jefferson knew when he made the Declaration of Independence…Pursuit of Happiness my ass. I have to say, that is probably the most bullshit thing I have ever heard. I don’t think it’s even possible to achieve! Being happy is just too hard.

Studying American history is simply…a waste of time. I wonder why I even signed up for that class…It makes me never want to study abroad there. I’ll stay here in Korea…or maybe I should move to Japan with Risa unni… I believe she still has relatives over there…

Reminds me, I should do my history homework soon…after the anatomy lecture…

The bell had not rung yet as I sat in my desk over 3 minutes early, the earliest I had ever been to the class. Usually, I would hang out with MinShik dongsaeng before class, yet today I simply did not feel like it—with all the weird Yoochun-ness and what not. I twirled my pencil between my fingers and sighed, staring into space. Time was moving slower than normal as I looked up at the board and copied down a blank chart that was drawn on it.

The bell seemed to take forever to ring. Why is it that time moves slower when you want it to go faster—and faster when you wish for it to move slower? I hate the factor of time, since so many things are limited due to it. It’s probably the roadblock in life that could never, ever be manipulated – and never ever overcome. It’s like an invincible phantom of some sort that wants to screw you over! I hate you time! I would strangle you if I could…

001

What really defines a perfect day? Well for me, at this moment, if someone would ask me to prom…and that person better be cute, taller than me, outgoing, and like me for who I am, that’d be a perfect day! However, that person CANNOT be my babo dongsaeng MinShik…why? He’s weird, that’s why! Also, I can’t even begin picturing myself with someone younger…even if it’s one month, it’s still considered younger! I don’t understand how many Korean boys have this “noona complex” … Then again, I remember MinShik asking me if I’d be able to see myself with someone younger, and I said no, I like older men! He then asked me why guys couldn’t like older women then…this is puzzling…

…What’s considered a normal relationship then? Oh well, whatever, this is confusing my already confused mind.

I began my way up the corridor stairs, clutching onto my book bag. I looked around and saw no one that I really knew, or liked, to talk to and sighed. It was another lonely walk towards a dreaded class. My legs dragged across the cold, linoleum floor of the school as a high-pitched yell was heard coming at me.

“YooRim!” She called, her footsteps echoed across the hallway as they came closer.
“Unni—please, no! Don’t!” But it was too late; she had already tackled me onto the floor.
“Are you okay?” she asked in a giddy manner, helping me up, “I didn’t mean to make you fall over…”
“You never mean to make me fall over, but you always do Risa.” I grumbled, dusting off my outfit and picking my books up.
“But you know me, I’m always so happy to see you!” An innocent smile was plastered on her face, I could never be mad at my unni.
“Happy? You’re always happy! How do you do it?” I laughed, walking along towards class with her.
“With these!” Risa reached into her pocket and pulled out a couple of lollipops, “They’re my happy sticks!”
“Ah, so you’re always hyped up on sugar!” I smiled at her and then sneered, “I hope you get cavities.”
“Hey!” She pouted, “You’re so mean sometimes dongsaeng, lighten up! Just because Junsu dumped—“ she slapped her hands across her mouth, “I mean…”
“…” Nice going unni, very nice.
“…You’ll find someone new! Forget him and his fat butt…” Risa quickly piped up, “Smile! Go stare at that tall kid that you really like—“

And at that moment, I wanted to shoot myself. Why? That tall kid that I really like just walked right by us. I hope he doesn’t know that he’s called “that tall kid”…please God; you can’t hate me this much.

“Hey Risa! Hi YooRim!” He spoke, waving at us with a smile.
“Oh hey Changmin!” Risa replied, smiling like a crazy person and waving her hand in a fast pace, “How are you today?”
“I’m good, and how about you girls?” Changmin was still smiling at us, gosh, his smile is so cute…and his hair is really cute…and well, hell, he’s ALL cute…
“I’m doing fine like always!” Risa giggled, “And YooRim is…YooRim?”

She began to nudge me multiple times, but my soul had already flown far, far away to another land. It was called Changmin Island…where it was just me, and him…and…we get to barbeque Junsu to feed the sharks…yes…let’s go to—

*SMACK*

“YooRim!” Risa yelled.
“Ow! Why’d you do that unni? You’re such a meanie…” I pouted and crossed my arms, not realizing that the man of my dreams had walked away with an odd look on his face because of me.
“Way to make yourself look like a retard right in front of Changmin.” She sighed, “Maybe you are hopeless…”
“Yah, you know what Risa? You tend to change your mood often while you’re on those ‘happy sticks’.” I scoffed, stepping away, “I have to go to class now so I will see you later!”

I stomped away, angry, sad, depressed, hysterical…hell let’s just say I went crazy! That’s right; Han YooRim is now completely insane.

I sat down at my assigned area and pulled out my notebook. It was first period. The class? Calculus 3. Total Time? 55 minutes. Time Elapsed? .5 seconds—the bell just rang. There aren’t many people in this class, so it’s somewhat easier due to more teacher and student time, and no fighting for attention or help…unlike the real world out there. Especially the love life world!

There can be one hot, cute, extremely tall, lovable guy—and one girl who loves him the most, but then there is the huge amount of other girls who are only infatuated with him and it covers that one special girl. It’s like being the sun on a cloudy day—and the clouds are all those other girls who think they’re all that, ack! I want to punch them all in the face. Oh wait no, I shouldn’t do that again…I was nearly expelled, whoops.

I began to jot down the notes that were written on the board, minding my own business. I was never really a talker in class, especially not in first period where my brain was defrosting itself from a mentally exhausting, cold night full of sleep and dreams that made absolutely no sense. Wait, I wouldn’t call them dreams actually, they were more like nightmares.

Nightmares of me and MinShik actually dating. Ew, I think I just peed a bit due to the horror. Just kidding.

Twenty minutes into class and a further explanation of rotating functions around an axis and finding volume by integrals (Yes, we seriously do this, but it’s not that hard…) the door swung open as a boy walked in, late as always. His hair was somewhat messy and his glasses were a bit crooked today. I simply laughed as he bowed, apologized to the teacher for being late, and took a seat beside me.

“Late once more, Park Yoochun?” I sneered. To be truthful, we never got along well. Maybe it was because Yoochun never got along with Junsu…
“Good morning to you too, miss ‘Junsu dumped me so now the world is ending.’” He growled, throwing his notebook loudly onto the table and angrily turning the pages to find a new sheet.
“The world is NOT over just because that jerk dumped me…” I glared at him; gosh I want to punch his face so badly right now!
“Sure, you’re just like all those other stupid girls he asks out. I can’t believe you fell for him.” A smirk appeared on his face as his hand moved quickly across his paper, dragging his pencil along.
“Are you implying that I’m stupid?” I grumbled, no longer looking at him but finishing up an example problem on the board.
“What do you think?”
“Stupid people get D’s in classes such as Calculus 3.” I smiled, “What do you think about that?”
“Hey, I only have a D in this class because I’ve been absent!” Yoochun snapped, looking over at me with a glower.
“Still, stupid people have the nerve to miss so much class,” I put my pencil down and slouched in my chair. I had already finished the problem as Mr. Kwon, our teacher, began to go over it. However, today he decided to do something a bit different.

“Han YooRim!” He yelled as I sat up quickly, a bit shocked.
“Haha, you’re going to get it…” Yoochun giggled.
“Yes, Mr. Kwon? What is it?” I smiled shyly, a bit scared about why he yelled at me in such an angry tone.
“For being one of the best students I’ve ever had,” A smile appeared on his lips as his eyes formed a small crescent moon shape that was rotated approximately 90 degrees, “Choose someone to do the problem that is on the board.”
“Oh shi---“ I heard Yoochun mumble.
“What an honor sir,” I was now grinning insanely, “Yah, Park Yoochun! You’ve been here long enough to get the basics of what we’re doing. I think you’d do fine with this simple problem.”
“With…pleasure…” He grumbled, grinding his teeth a bit and sending a fierce look at me.

I watched Yoochun make his way to the board as he stood in front of it, dumbfounded.

“I’m going to get you for this.” I heard him mumble as I could only sit back, relax and refrain from laughing.

Junsu would’ve liked to see this…Junsu…

…damn I hate him.

Welcome to my fanfiction blog! (:

Due to my laziness and the fact that I often lack commitment in my writing, I have decided to use blogspot to host this story of mine. Once I finish it here, I may transfer this to a forum. Take a step into my life, and you’ll see it’s always sunshine and smiles.

Not.

It’s called high school, with all the boy drama, girl drama, homework, expectations and future planning, especially during junior year, where everything counts. Every single damn thing counts—and I’m not exaggerating. I think my biggest mistake was planning to overachieve this year, since I ended up slacking off more than ever. Well woop-di-doo, Han YooRim, you really screwed yourself over.

AP classes, College Courses and a part time job also– hell, who am I trying to impress? I can’t even remember anymore! I just think I felt like killing myself slowly this year, and to finish it off, I had the nerve to sign up for a hard senior year, and I mean hard. It’s like committing suicide, complete suicide! I guess I lack common sense to go the easy way out and finish high school with a nice and simple end.

Anyways, it’s that time of the year again, the time where I cram in my studies. No, it is not finals—not yet at least. It’s AP testing time. And do you know what else is great about my life right now? It’s prom season and I have no date! Sure, it’s only my junior year, but…I still want to go! Who would ask me out though? No one probably would even ask me out! I’m too intimidating, yeah that’s the word…intimidating *cough cough*. Actually, I’m just an ugly fat girl! Yeah, that’s right, I’m just ugly and fat, that’s why my boyfriend dumped me! What a convenient time to dump your girlfriend, during prom season…well I didn’t even like him that much anyways!

I’ve been recuperating from my odd sense of mind lately, coping with the break up and such. HA, kidding, like I would ever waste my time wailing and crying over a boy…unless it was the guy I like…and in that case, I’m failing at trying to “lure him in”. No one wants a fat and ugly girl anyways…

“Noona, you’re not fat and ugly.” A voice chimed in behind me as it broke me from my thoughts beneath a tree in front of school.
“What are you talking about? I’m so fat and so ugly! If I wasn’t then Junsu wouldn’t have broken up with me!” I muttered, crossing my arms.
“I thought you didn’t like him.” My dongsaeng smiled, punching my arm lightly, “So you DID like him huh?”
“I DID NOT!” I snapped, “He asked me out, I was just too nice and couldn’t reject him…” I turned my head away. Okay, fine, maybe I did like him a teensy weensy bit…
“Then if noona likes him, noona should get him back!” He smiled, “Or…noona can just go to prom with me!”
“In your dreams MinShik, in your dreams.” I grumbled, “I’m not sinking that low.”
“LOW?” MinShik pouted at me, “I’m not even that much younger than you! We only have a one month difference!”
“Well, I’m still older so ha!” I patted his head as I got up, “Class is starting, so run along child.”
“…I hate you noona…” he grumbled, making his way into the main building.
“Then why’d you ask me to prom?” I yelled after him, smiling and walking the other direction to my first class.

Looking up at the sky, I saw that the sun was shining radiantly in the clear, blue sky.

It was 75 degrees.

Perfect weather, for a not so perfect life.
